Six enclaves in Spain that triumph in networks and on campervan routes

8 October, 2025

The rise of social media is transforming the way people choose travel destinations in Spain. According to a study by IBIS Data, 40% of millennials and Generation Z select places seen on Instagram or TikTok, while 58% prioritise experiences over material goods. In this context, the campervan rental platform CamperDays has identified six Spanish enclaves that are gaining prominence in digital tourism.

The Lagunas de Ruidera (Castile-La Mancha) stand out for their turquoise waters and photogenic sunsets, while the Mirador de Chipeque viewpoint (Tenerife) offers one of the most shared images: Mount Teide over a sea of clouds. In Aragon, the Muralla de Finestres surprises us with its natural geometry and in Cadiz, Setenil de las Bodegas attracts visitors with its houses embedded in the rock.

The list is completed with the Playa de las Catedrales (Galicia), where natural arches emerge at low tide and with the Bardenas Reales (Navarre), a desert landscape with a cinematographic aesthetic.

These locations reflect how campervan travel and digital influence are reinforcing the demand for flexible routes and unique scenery in Spain.
