Future luxury icon next to the Bernabéu
New 5-star hotel with Danish design in the financial heart of Madrid 5 November, 2025Madrid will add a new benchmark in luxury hospitality in 2028. The Socimi Ibervalles will build a 5-star, 15-storey hotel opposite the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, in the heart of the Azca financial district, which is currently being transformed.
The building, designed by the prestigious Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, will stand out for its exterior structure of cylinders and will offer services aimed at high-end urban travellers: a business centre, spa, gastronomic area and panoramic terrace.
The project will replace an old office building acquired from Allianz and is emerging as a catalyst for the renewal of Azca, according to the chairman of Ibervalles, Enrique Isidro. The company is currently seeking an international chain to operate the property.
Madrid City Council’s delegate for Urban Planning, Borja Carabante, has stressed that this initiative responds to the growing demand for premium accommodation and helps drive the capital’s urban and tourism transformation, at a time when “Madrid is at its best”.
