19 November, 2025

The DYC distillery, located in Palazuelos de Eresma (Segovia), is consolidating as one of the main enclaves of experiential and cultural tourism in Castile and León. Owned by Suntory Global Spirits, the emblematic facility, where the iconic DYC whisky is produced, receives over 7,000 visitors each year, especially in autumn, when attendance intensifies.

Founded in 1958 by Nicomedes García and located in the historic Molino del Arco, the distillery combines legacy and active production. During the visit, attendees learn the complete production process, from the use of local cereals to double distillation and oak ageing. The experience culminates with a commented tasting of three DYC whiskies and possible pairings with Segovian products, reinforcing the link between tradition, gastronomy, and territory.

Suntory Global Spirits maintains a firm commitment to sustainability and responsible consumption, collaborating with the Segovia City Council and Espirituosos España to promote moderation and sustainable tourism development. Visits, available only with prior reservation at dyc.es, consolidate the distillery as a benchmark of Segovian identity and a local economic driver.
