Bahía Príncipe opens its first adults-only hotel in the Canaries
17 December, 2025On 1 December, Bahia Príncipe Hotels & Resorts opened the Bahía Príncipe Luxury Tenerife, its first adults-only hotel in the Canary Islands and the first property the company has opened following its alliance with Hyatt.
The hotel is the result of a comprehensive redesign aimed at raising standards in design, wellbeing and connection with the destination. It has 268 rooms, two refurbished swimming pools and a gastronomic offer comprising four restaurants. The architecture and services are inspired by the geology, culture and gastronomy of the Canary Islands, incorporating local materials and products from the area to reinforce the identity of the enclave.
The transformation includes two new speciality restaurants: one focused on Canarian cuisine and another steak house style, both designed to enhance the culinary experience.
The opening marks a milestone for the brand, coinciding with its 30th anniversary and consolidating its commitment to a more personalised and sophisticated product, aligned with the expectations of an adult audience that values tranquillity and attention to detail. At the same time, it strengthens the alliance with Hyatt and puts forward an identity centred on the destination's authenticity and a model of responsible and sustainable growth.
