Aquatic adventure and exploration: what’s new at PortAventura World
11 February, 2026PortAventura World has presented its major new features for the coming season with two new experiences aimed at families: “Coral Bay, La Leyenda Perdida” and “Makamanu Jungle, The Adventure Trek”. Both proposals expand and renew the resort’s offer in both Caribe Aquatic Park and PortAventura Park, with the aim of continuing to create memorable and distinctive experiences for all ages.
“Coral Bay, La Leyenda Perdida” is a new 6,000m2 family area that recreates a pirate bay that has emerged from the ocean after centuries submerged. The area incorporates a family water coaster unique in Europe, an adventure pool with a water obstacle course unique in the world, new slides and a new food outlet. This extension reinforces the offer of Caribe Aquatic Park and positions it as one of the leading family water parks in Europe.
For its part, “Makamanu Jungle, The Adventure Trek” is an adventure trail located in the Polynesia area of PortAventura Park. Through walkways, suspension bridges and challenges integrated into nature, the experience invites exploration and recovers the original essence of the site from a more active perspective. Both proposals will open in summer and consolidate the resort’s growth strategy, combining immersion, adventure and fun.
