Ibiza adds hotel appeal with two boutique openings
13 May, 2026Ibiza boosts its hospitality offering with two openings in Santa Eulària des Riu reinforcing the island’s dynamism in the boutique and premium segments. Garden Hotel Group and One Shot Hotels have chosen this enclave to add new assets to their portfolios, with differentiated proposals that combine location, design, local identity and a carefully curated guest experience.
One Shot Hotels lands on the island with One Shot Buenavista, a boutique hotel located in the former Hotel Buenavista, opened in 1933 and recognised as an iconic establishment. The new accommodation, which has been taking bookings since 17 May, has 32 rooms, gardens, swimming pool, bar-cafeteria and fitness and yoga areas. The chain preserves part of the property’s historical identity and updates it with an interior design by Alfaro-Manrique Atelier.
On 24 June, Garden Hotel Group will open a 5-star hotel that will operate under the Nivia Hotel Collection brand. The property, owned by AAABarcelona, will be incorporated under a management contract. The establishment will have 31 rooms and a rooftop with swimming pool, as well as a gastronomic proposal based on local, organic produce connected with the surroundings. The opening adds to the momentum of Nivia, a brand that already has the Nivia Born Boutique Hotel in Palma and new projects in strategic destinations.
