Three top Spanish remote-work destinations

13 May, 2026

Valencia, Las Palmas and Seville are among the ten most attractive destinations in the world for digital nomads, according to the Holafly Global Index Report. The three Spanish cities confirm southern Europe’s appeal as an international hub for remote work, in a context of greater maturity, regulation and professionalisation of the sector. Genoa and Bari lead the ranking, which also includes Quebec City, Catania, Florence, Palermo and Rome.

Valencia, third in the ranking, leads the Spanish presence thanks to its Mediterranean lifestyle, solid infrastructure, a large international community and a well-established coworking ecosystem. The city offers a particularly attractive balance: large enough to generate opportunities and professional connections yet more afforable than Madrid or Barcelona.

Las Palmas, in eighth place, reinforces its role as a consolidated destination for remote workers, with mild weather all year round, good connectivity and a mature ecosystem of coworking, coliving and “work and surf”. Seville, in tenth place, completes Spain’s presence with its climate, culture, lower costs than other major national destinations and an increasingly visible coworking network.
