Mandarin Oriental strengthens luxury holidays in Mallorca
10 June, 2026Mandarin Oriental adds Mallorca to its hotel portfolio in Spain with its first resort in the Balearic Islands, located in Calvià, about 25 minutes from Palma airport. The property, owned by Blasson Property Investments, operates in the 5-star Grand Luxury segment after the repositioning of the former H10 Punta Negra Resort.
The asset was acquired in 2021 from the Blanes family and has been the subject of an investment of between 180 and 200 million euros, including purchase and refurbishment. Built in 1966, the hotel thus completes its transformation into one of the most relevant high-end projects in the southwest of Mallorca.
Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca has 131 rooms, gardens, views of the Mediterranean and access to two coves. Its offer includes 26 suites, nine casitas and several units with private pool.
The proposal is rounded off with six gastronomic areas, including Matsuhisa, by Nobu Matsuhisa and Leña by Dani García, as well as a spa, outdoor and indoor pools, gym and wellness experiences.
With this project Mandarin Oriental adds its third hotel in Spain, after Madrid and Barcelona.
