European markets boost air capacity to Spain in June
10 June, 2026Spain will have almost 13.1 million seats on international flights in June, 7.1% more than in the same month of 2025, according to Turespaña. The figure confirms the good pace of air connectivity at the start of the high season.
The increase is supported by the positive performance of the main European markets. The UK, Spain’s leading international source market, is increasing its planned seats by 8.5%, while Italy is recording the highest growth among the major markets, with 12%.
France is also maintaining a favourable trend, with an increase of 2.6%, and the Nordic countries are reinforcing the trend: Denmark is growing by 8.5%, Norway by 8.4%, Sweden by 5.1% and Finland by 3.8%.
Germany, despite slightly reducing its capacity with a 0.6% drop, remains one of the key markets for Spanish destinations. In addition, Poland once again stands out with growth of more than 30%, while Turkey is approaching 19%.
