8 July, 2026

Nobu Hotel Madrid will open its doors on 1 September 2026 bringing the brand’s signature blend of urban luxury and Japanese gastronomy to the heart of the Spanish capital. The five‑star hotel, located between Cibeles and Puerta del Sol, will be Nobu’s first in Madrid and its fifth in Spain.

The property, owned by Hotei Properties Group, will occupy a former office building acquired in late 2021 for €36.7 million and converted into a hotel after a redevelopment process that began in 2022. It will have 50 rooms and suites, including a 105m2 Nobu Suite with private terrace, as well as a restaurant, bar and lounge spread over three levels. The concept will also include a rooftop designed as a social space with views overlooking the city.

The project strengthens Nobu’s presence in Spain, where the brand already operates in San Sebastián, Barcelona, Marbella and Ibiza. The design combines Japanese elements, wood, organic textiles, ambient lighting and floor‑to‑ceiling windows. Guests will enjoy Nobu in‑room dining, priority access to the restaurant, Nobu Signature Beds, Byredo amenities, wellness, a Technogym fitness centre and parking on request.
