Spain adds more than 13 million airline seats for September
9 September, 2026Travelling to Spain will have more flight options this September. Airlines have scheduled more than 13 million seats on flights to the country, 7.4% more than a year ago, when the offer reached 12.2 million, according to data from Turespaña.
Among the main European markets, Italy shows the highest growth, with a 13.2% increase in seats. The United Kingdom is also significantly increasing its capacity, by 8.7%, while Germany is up 3.4% and France is practically maintaining last year’s levels, with a 0.4% rise.
The overall increase in capacity broadens the connections available for those planning to visit Spain after the peak summer season.
