7 campsites in Catalonia are among the best in Europe

Over the years, this has led to the enhancement and upgrading of these types of facilities to the point where some of them are among the best available.
Catalonia is one of the areas in Spain where a top-quality range of campsites is concentrated. As proof of this, 7 of these facilities located in the province of Tarragona have received awards as they are considered to be among the best in Europe.
In fact, the Sangulí Camping & Resort, in the municipality of Salou -on the Costa Dorada-, has even been nominated as the best campsite in Europe in the category 'Best Family Camping'. While the Tamarit Beach Resort ended up being the winner in the category 'Best rated accommodation'.
The rest of the establishments recognised on this occasion for their high quality were Alannia Els Prats Camping & Resort (Mont-roig del Camp), Playa Montroig Camping & Resort (Mont-roig del Camp), Camping La Torre del Sol ( Mont-roig del Camp) and Camping Stel (Roda de Barà).
The recognition of these facilities as the best campsites in Europe comes from two leading associations in the sector, ANWB from the Netherlands, which has more than 4.5 million users, and ADAC from Germany. It should be pointed out that five of these campsites have achieved recognition from both associations.
