Tenerife, Madrid and Mallorca are the top Spanish destinations in 2022
23 March, 2022International tourists are once again choosing Spain as a tourist destination in 2022, despite everything of the last few years. And they do so in the hope of a gradual return to normality which is reach its full level by summer. They want to enjoy a healthy and peaceful holiday.
Among them, the Brits are the primary group of tourists visiting Spain's main destinations. According to data from the online travel agency Destinia, international visitors are focusing on five destinations.
Indeed, bookings to Tenerife are up +182% compared to those recorded at the same time in 2019. In Madrid, the increase is +72% compared to the last “normal year”. Mallorca, meanwhile, is up +46%, followed by Barcelona and Gran Canaria.
