6 Spanish airports awarded for their anti-COVID-19 health measures
6 April, 2022The Airports Council International (ACI) has awarded a total of six Spanish airports for their excellent health measures in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which have been implemented by AENA throughout its network of air facilities.
Specifically, the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Pamplona, Reus, Seve Ballesteros-Santander, Región de Murcia International and El Hierro airports have all been recognised with the award for the ‘Best Hygiene Measures’ in Europe. A great guarantee for receiving British passengers in 2022.

The ACI has also recognised the Valladolid, Región de Murcia International and El Hierro airports with the ‘Best Airport in Europe Award’, in the airports with less than 2 million passengers per year category, showing how even the smaller Spanish airports offer high quality.
The ‘Best Hygiene Measures’ awards in Europe for combatting COVID-19 are of particular note as they come from passenger ratings in the ASQ (Airport Service Quality) surveys collected by ACI.
