The Magaluf Half Marathon 2022 will break participation records
20 April, 2022It is expected that more than 1,200 people will take part in the Magaluf Half Marathon, as weeks before the scheduled date 700 people have already registered. This means 20% more international athletes will take part in the race, considered one of the most popular urban races in Spain.
The 23rd edition of this race is scheduled for April 23rd and, as a novelty, this year it will include a new specific award category to promote the participation of disabled people. The Magaluf Half Marathon will cover 21 kilometres, but there is also a 10-kilometres race and another one for children.
It is worth mentioning that the routes are mostly flat and go through coastal areas and avenues in Magaluf and Palmanova. The organisation will provide runners with provisions during the race and at the finish line, the possibility of timing themselves, physiotherapy, cloakroom service, a medal upon arrival at the finish line, entertainment, and different surprises to liven up the day.
