Costa Firence Cruise ship will run 34 cruises departing from Barcelona
25 May, 2022The Costa Firenze cruise ship will make 34 stops in Barcelona this season, strengthening its summertime presence in the port. This is a clear demonstration of the cruise line’s continued confidence in the Spanish market. This ship brings the company’s grand total of ships operating in Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands to 3: Costa Firenze and its twin ships, Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda.
Costa Cruises have stated their intention to include new product innovations on board all of these ships which they’ve been working on over the past months. These include a new range of land-based excursions and an excellent culinary offer led by Michelin star rated chefs including Cadiz native Ángel León.
In addition to the Costa Firenze, the port of Barcelona will also host the Costa Smeralda every Monday. Both ships will run week-long cruises designed for tourists to enjoy the calm Mediterranean waters. The Costa Firenze will stop in Barcelona, Cagliari, Palermo, Civitavecchia/Roma, Genoa and Marseille. Meanwhile, the Smeralda will stop at: Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo, Roma/Civitavecchia, Savona and Marseille.
