The Vías Verdes app is now available to download for iOS
30 May, 2022The Spanish Railway Association (La Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles) has designed a new version of its “Vías Verdes”(meaning “Greenways” in English) app for iOS. Users can now download the free app from the Apple Store and access nearly 3,000 kilometres of landscapes over a total of 135 greenways.
This digital launch provides a solution for the strong demand voiced by users to make this enhancement. To date, the Greenways and Nature Network 2000 (Vías Verdes y Red Natura 2000), launched in 2019, was only available for Android users. The iOS versions includes all of the same features as the previous ones: Maps, Search Engine, Itineraries, Directions, More information and Your Greenways space.
Additionally, it also incorporates some new features, including basic facts for each route in the form of an audio-guide, the opportunity to connect to Wikiloc links, a Greenways Latest news space and the option to bookmark and rate favourite routes.
