Barcelona and Valencia to become MSC embarkation ports from July

29 June, 2022

MSC Cruises has repositioned MSC Bellissima in the Western Mediterranean for the 2022 summer season, with Valencia and Barcelona as home ports. The company, which has more than 400 scheduled calls as part of its strategic growth plan in Spanish ports, continues its commitment to both Spanish cities.

Following the relaxation of pandemic health measures by the different governments after Easter, MSC Cruises has seen an increase in the number of bookings made. In fact, during the month of May, the number of bookings was 144% up on the same period of 2019.

In response to this, the company has decided to continue its commitment to Spain, choosing Barcelona and Valencia as embarkation ports for MSC Bellissima on its new 7-night itinerary in the Western Mediterranean, which will also call at Genoa, Livorno and Naples, starting on 9 July.

With 6 embarkation ports, Spain now has the second largest number for the company.
