Barcelona and Valencia are once again linked by plane
6 July, 2022Air Nostrum will resume one of the company's most long-standing routes as of 4 September, between Barcelona and Valencia. Flights are already on sale through the usual channels and on the Iberia website for the four scheduled frequencies.
The route will relaunch with a flight from Barcelona to Valencia departing from El Prat every Sunday at 10.40pm to take advantage of end-of-weekend journeys or passengers needing to be in Valencia first thing Monday morning for business. On Mondays, there will also be a flight from Valencia to Barcelona at 9.00 am.
Most flights will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, when the plane will depart Barcelona at 8.05am and return from Valencia at 9.35am. All connections will be operated using the 100-passenger capacity CRJ1000 aircraft, the most modern in Air Nostrum’s fleet, which takes less than an hour to fly between the two airports.
The route between Valencia and Barcelona is one of Air Nostrum’s most long-standing. It opened in 1995 at the very beginning of the company and remained uninterrupted until 2012. The connection returned in March 2017 but had to be cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
