Marbella town centre will soon have its first 5* hotel
31 August, 2022Marbella's old town will have its first 5-star accommodation in 2023. It will be called the Puerta de Ronda hotel, which the hotel group La Ciudadela de Marbella has begun to build in a historic building located in the Puerta de Ronda square. This is where the old Muslim medina used to be.
According to the project, it will have an interior courtyard, a rooftop terrace exclusively for guests, and only seven suites, decorated and designed by the group's CEO, Miguel Cerván, the most exclusive of which will have a private garden and jacuzzi.
This will be the fourth establishment of this chain, which inaugurated its first 4-star hotel in the city centre of Malaga last May. The hotel group thus continues with its strategy of positioning Marbella's old town as a reference point for visitors to the Costa del Sol who are looking for much more than just a beach holiday.
