The car rental sector expands its offer to include electric motorbikes
14 September, 2022The car rental company Avis continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability by incorporating Seat Mó 125 model motorbikes into its vehicle offer, which feature a range of more than 125 kilometres. This provides tourists with an environmentally friendly way of getting around and is now available at the company’s branches in Cartagena, Denia, Marbella and Sotogrande.
The electric motorbikes travel at a speed of up to 95 km/h, feature 3 power settings and a charging time of 6 to 8 hours. These vehicles provide an authentically environmentally friendly mode of transport as they do not emit CO2 and cause zero noise pollution. Additionally, the motorbikes easily connect to smartphone technology (mobile phones can be plugged in) to enhance the driver’s travel experience.
Avis’s general manager for Spain, Francisco Farrás, stated that “as a company, we adopt the industry’s latest technological advances to continue providing the best mobility options. Introducing electric motorcycles into our fleet allows for an improvement in the flexibility and freedom we offer to our clients, while also advancing our mission to use the most sustainable means of transport”.
