Turespaña will discover Spain for the British tourist with photographs

21 September, 2022

The Spanish Tourism Institute (Turespaña) and PHotoESPAÑA recently launched ‘Spain. Portrait of a country’ (España. Ratrato de un país, in Spanish), a project that includes an open call for photographs from the public and the publication of a book with the best images, which will be exhibited to the public at the FITUR 2023 fair.

‘Spain. Portrait of a country’ is a project that aims to celebrate 21st century Spain through a contemporary photographic portrait, with photographers Paula Anta and Eduardo Nave involved in the celebrations that took place at the beginning of September.

The director of Turespaña, Miguel Sanz, described the project as “a valuable portrait of today’s Spain in images that help to bring visibility to some truly unique places, but less known to international visitors, that shed light on cultural and natural resources, and that offer an updated view of our country”.
