A Coruña : a gastro destination

A Coruña has just added another great event to its calendar, consolidating itself as a benchmark venue for the foodservice sector, after the celebration of the Galicia Gastronomic Forum, which closed its doors with about 22,000 visitors who, for three days, enjoyed the different chefs’ proposals which totalled more than 30 Michelin stars, 65 speakers and 200 exhibitors in which the sector’s new features were presented.

This was the first event of the city’s autumnal programme. In the second week of October, the III Atlantic Territory Gastronomic Days were held, where over twenty restaurants from all over the city participated, exhibiting gastronomic proposals with products from the Biosphere Reserve, of high ecological quality, emphasising local culinary resource.

Also, in autumn, the Picadillo and Boucatise tapas contest will take place, benchmark events in the sector, which place the city at the epicentre of the gastronomy in the northwest of the peninsula.
