9 November, 2022

The Minister of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Reyes Maroto, has officially inaugurated the Parador [Inn] of Costa da Morte in Muxía (A Coruña). During this act on 23 October, she stated that the establishment “symbolises an example of integration with its natural and hereditary environment: a unique, avant-garde, modern, building which merges with the wild rocky beaches of the beautiful Praia de Lourido.

This area has been qualified as ‘the cliffs of the end of the world’ and is becoming a benchmark of sustainable Galician and Spanish tourism”. Since its opening in June 2020, this establishment has become the twelfth of the network of Paradores in Galicia which strengthens the commitment of this State network’s economic and social development of the region.

The Parador de Costa da Morte opened its doors for the first time on 25 June 2020, becoming number 98 of the public chain. Around those dates, it received its first clients, complying with the strict hygiene and distancing protocols established by the company in all its establishments to guarantee clients’ and employees’ safety in all the facilities.
