2 Rias Baixas cellars awarded for their quality wine tourism
23 November, 2022Rías Baixas continues to receive awards for the high quality of its wine tourism offer. On this occasion, two associates of the Ruta do Viño Rías Baixas have received recognition at the VI Wine Tourism Awards 'Wine Routes of Spain', organised by the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN).
Bodegas Martín Códax has been recognised as the Best Cellar Open to Tourism in Spain for the suitability of its areas, its quality and commitment to sustainability, as well as the wide range of services and experiences offered which highlight local values and traditions. Quinta de San Amaro, a hotel and restaurant among vineyards, has also received an award with a Special Mention for Best Wine Tourism Experience.
The Wine Tourism Awards represent public recognition of the work and effort in developing quality tourism in the wine sector, by hundreds of companies integrated into the Spanish Wine Routes. In this VI Edition, a total of 93 proposals were presented, coming from candidacies of 24 of the 36 Wine Routes that currently form the brand Wine Routes of Spain.
