Zaragoza chooses its best tapa dish out of 120
14 December, 2022The city of Zaragoza and its province have already chosen their best tapa of 2022, called 'magañico' and made by Brasería Fire. The contest took place late November and a total of 120 proposals from 90 specialised gastronomy establishments from all over the region were submitted. The competition was tough, but the jury and the public chose the innovative proposal which won.
The different routes by district in which the participants are located were the Historic District, City Centre, Las Fuentes/San José/Torrero, University/Casablanca/Valdespartera, Margin Izquierda, Delicias/Almozada/Casetas and Province. This means that you could visit restaurants in those areas -guided with a map- which participated in the experience. Tasting, in each case, their tapas for a reasonable price.
It is a recreational-gastronomic activity that is increasingly common in Spain and adored by international tourists. In this contest, the Best Tapa of Zaragoza, 2022; Best Original Tapa; Best Aragonese Tapa “Aragón Alimentos Nobles”; and Best Mediterranean Tapa. Quite a challenge for local restaurants.
