Regular Barcelona-Pamplona flights return 10 years later

14 December, 2022

The Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum has resumed its route between Barcelona and the capital of Navarra, Pamplona, which hadn’t operated with regular flights for 10 years. The Valencian company, which occasionally scheduled four special operations last July for the Sanfermines, now does this route on a stable basis four times a week.

Specifically, the planes fly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, since 30 October and throughout the winter season, between that date and 25 March, 2023. As Air Nostrum has clarified, the flights between both airports will be operated with CRJ1000 100-seat jets.

This regional connection had previously existed but was abolished a decade ago. Now it is resumed to reinforce the connectivity of Barcelona-El Prat with traffic to the north of the peninsula. On the other hand, the link will facilitate weekend getaways and long weekends, as well as extensive tours of Spain for international tourists interested in discovering various destinations.
