Tenerife wants to become a smart tourist destination
21 December, 2022The authorities of Tenerife and the Spanish state company dedicated to the management of innovation and tourism technologies, Segittur, have reached a collaboration agreement to ensure that the smart tourism model is implemented throughout the island of Tenerife, so that it is a more digital and innovative destination.
“We are planning joint research and we have a line of collaboration which, thanks to the agreement, we hope to continue promoting” for the benefit of smart tourist destinations, says a statement from the Cabildo de Tenerife.
It should be noted that this agreement will serve to improve collaboration between the two institutions and increase commitment to the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations which already has 67 members showing the success of the initiative and, above all, the interest in improving Spanish tourist areas.
