A new boost to tourist accessibility in Catalonia
4 January, 2023The Representative Platform for People with Physical and Organic Disabilities (PREDIF) and the Baix Empordà Regional Council have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly develop the Tourist Accessibility Plan for the Baix Empordà, a region of Catalonia.
The aim of this agreement is to promote this area as an accessible tourist destination, as well as to join efforts to promote initiatives, programmes, projects and actions aimed at improving the accessibility conditions of the region’s tourist environments, products and services.
From now on, both entities will work together to consolidate the Tourist Accessibility Plan which will improve the quality of life of citizens and national and international tourists with accessibility need who visit the Baix Empordà.
