FiturTechy is inspired by Jules Verne

11 January, 2023

The FiturTechy area of the Fitur 2023 trade fair in stand 10 of Ifema Madrid is the section specialised in technology, sustainability and innovation for the tourism sector and can be visited on 18, 19 and 20 January. This new edition is inspired by the visionary literature of Jules Verne, focused on devices which were ahead of his time, such as the submarine, which will shape the “room of the future”: the Nautilus.

Over 50 companies, mostly Spanish and leaders in the sector, have jointly integrated and coordinated to create a unique immersive area. A journey between the physical and digital world for all types of travellers. Pets are welcome in the showroom at FiturTechy, “techYhotel”, and thanks to Vodafone's SmartTags technology can be registered and offered an “all-inclusive” option, with an à la carte menu.

The #techYhotel area has been designed by the architect and interior designer Miguel Soler, a specialist in hotels and in the creation of unique thematic areas and recreated by Geodomos, experts in the construction of domes, geodesics and intelligent sustainable construction. Alongside the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), they have managed to recreate Captain Nemo's submarine, a showroom which will house intelligent areas and state-of-the-art technological tools.
