Discovering the Triana district in Seville? How?

18 January, 2023

The iconic Triana district in Seville has reopened its facilities after the pandemic for tourists. Starting from the information point located in San Jorge Castle, next to the market, which has been expanded with three rooms where audiovisual content is exhibited that reflects the attractions that this area has for visitors.

This place serves as a starting point to guide visits in the district: from the historical, cultural and religious heritage, to bullfighting, the corrals and alleys, crafts, local products and the walk along the river. The second phase of the plan will consist of the installation of new and identifying signage to mark the main monuments and tourist attractions of the neighbourhood and which will be soon undertaken. These elements will help structure different itineraries.

“All this is the result of the work that has already been done with the entities of Triana to design a plan that will help us expand the space for tourists and the benefits of this industry in the neighbourhoods”, explained the municipal delegate for the Economy, Trade and Tourism, Francisco Páez. In fact, the ultimate goal is to achieve more sustainable and diversified tourism.
