Tibidabo’s laser show and synthetic ice rink
25 January, 2023The Tibidabo Amusement Park celebrated its 121st season in 2022, in which two attractions stood out: the Laser Show, which brought together more than 25,000 spectators in summer and the synthetic ice rink, which 10,000 people enjoyed at Christmas. It was also the year of the consolidation of the Cuca de Llum funicular as the main collective means of access to the Barcelona leisure park and its Panoramic Area, with over 650,000 users.
Tibidabo closed the 2022 season on 5 January and will reopen its doors on March 4, after the usual maintenance of the facilities. In total, last year it received more than 620,000 visitors during the 145 days it has been open to the public, bringing it close to pre-pandemic figures, despite the fact that in 2022 there were still anti-Covid restrictions.
Even so, this number of visitors is 54% higher than that of 2021 when there were 402,000 visitors and the Barcelona amusement park was closed two months longer than usual -from January to mid-May due to COVID- 19. The Panoramic Area, which houses the iconic attractions and the Automata Museum, will open on weekends in February and every day from 4 March.
