London’s Tourist Office organises Spain’s Sustainability Day

15 March, 2023

Turespaña’s Foreign Tourism Office (OET in Spanish) in London has organised Spain's Sustainability Day (SSD), a new event on sustainable tourism which will be held in the British capital on Wednesday, 26 April and where the tourism sectors of the UK and Spain, as well as the media, will meet to offer debates and issue sustainability awards.

This meeting will be held at The Conduit in Covent Garden and will be offered to the audience in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation. It will begin at 12:00 noon and will continue until after 9 p.m., when there will be a farewell cocktail-dinner when networking will take place.

Manuel Butler, director of the OET in London.

According to Manuel Butler, director of the OET in London, “we want Spain to be a benchmark for sustainability in the British market, by far the main market for Spain.” And on this occasion, we will address “the real transition (with the emphasis on real) to Zero Emissions of destinations” he said, counting on the British vision and, also, that of Spanish destinations.
