Spain will promote cultural heritage with escape rooms
19 April, 2023The Spanish Association of Festivals and Historical Recreations participates in a project whose main idea is to create escape rooms to promote cultural heritage, boost active tourism and the local economy in order to avoid depopulation, empowering young people to take the initiative and promote projects related to their history and local culture in their own community.
This project will be launched thanks to the possibility of opening new ways of financing, obtaining resources, aid and subsidies for the festivals both in Spain and the European Union, taking advantage of the new opportunities offered by the Next Generation EU funds and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain.
This initiative will be undertaken through the creation of a working group which promotes public-private collaboration between partners, specialised companies and public bodies, in which the Bodas de Isabel Foundation has requested to feature.
