Ifema Madrid becomes a gastro hub

Ifema Madrid will transform its catering model with a spectacular range of restaurants and terraces that will serve over 3.7 million visitors it receives each year and which will position the institution as a major gastro hub in Madrid. The new renovation project will start in September and will be managed by the multinational Spanish company Areas.

This qualitative leap in the gastronomic offer counts on three great icons as gastronomic partners and official brands of drinks, beer and coffee, such as Mahou San Miguel, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and JDE Peet’s coffee with the brand L'OR, which will participate in this new and innovative commitment to catering in Madrid.

The project envisages the creation of the “Avenida de la Gastronomía” as a high street in the city centre, as well as indoor restaurants in each pavilion of the exhibition centre. The offer will combine international brands and local concepts with a “Madrid flavour” designed for this gastro area that will incorporate 32 restaurants as well as 14 indoor and outdoor terraces.
