21 June, 2023The event 'The European Tourism Data Space: positioning the European tourism industry', organised by Hosteltur in partnership with AnySolution, was held on 8 June in an online format with the aim of analysing the framework of the project known as DATES to explore approaches and options for the deployment of a secure and reliable tourism data space, ensuring transparent control of access and the use and reuse of data.
The outcome of the activity will support the sector’s digital transformation, promoting competitiveness, resilience and sustainability as key success factors to maintain Europe's leadership. Participating companies and organisations include the European Commission, the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, AnySolution, IDSA, BDVA, Dingus, AvorisTech, Nesctour and Tecnalia.
