Vueling is one of the best low-cost airlines in the world
28 June, 2023AirlineRatings, the global airline product and safety rating website, has announced, as part of its annual Airline Excellence Awards, the 25 best low-cost airlines for 2023, including Spain's Vueling. Strong public interest in affordable travel has led the evaluation team to identify the top 25 operators in this segment from among the nearly 365 airlines it monitors.
In making its assessment, it takes into account a wide range of factors including serious incidents, recent fatal accidents, aviation industry and governing body audits, profitability, industry-leading safety initiatives, expert pilot training assessment and the age of the fleet.
According to AirlineRatings’ team leader Geoffrey Thomas, these airlines stand out in the industry and are at the forefront of safety, product innovation that enhances the passenger experience and new aircraft launches. All of the airlines chosen have good safety and incident records or have completed the Operational Safety Audit.
