2023: the most European Madrid Pride
28 June, 2023The largest Pride in Europe returns to fill the city of Madrid from 23 June to 2 July, coinciding in dates with a historic moment: the beginning of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union, which will take over from Sweden. This year MADO Madrid Pride 2023 has a very European and Europeanist approach and in the programming and content will be present not only European artists and culture.
MADO has an extensive programme of lectures, conferences, sports competitions and concerts. Once again this year, the Madrid Summit (International Conference on Human Rights), the MADO 2023 awards ceremony and various cultural activities will be held as part of the Muestra T, La Culta and La Oculta cultural festivals.
For 10 days, the streets and squares of Madrid are dyed with the colours of all the flags of the collective, all identities and all sensitivities to claim and celebrate the LGTBIQ+ Pride that will culminate on July 1 in the central act: the mass state demonstration. This year the focus is on social issues and Human Rights.
