The 8 Spanish destinations preferred by LGTBI+ tourists

There are discriminatory barriers that affect the way these travellers are welcomed around the world and 87% of Spanish travellers of this profile surveyed say that they must consider their safety and well-being when choosing a destination, according to Booking.com.
When the LGTBI+ community travels in Spain, they prefer above all to visit Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, considering them the three most welcoming destinations. But there are others that are also among their favourites, with Valencia, Seville, Cadiz, Canary Islands, Sitges and Torremolinos standing out.
More than four-fifths (83%) of LGTBI+ travellers say they have experienced some kind of positive interaction, particularly when it comes to accommodation interactions such as friendly and informative communication with the accommodation prior to arrival (42%) or a great first impression, including welcome drinks and attentive staff (43%).
