Iberia passengers will be able to track their baggage in real time

Over the coming weeks, Iberia will implement baggage tracking, a tool that allows passengers to track their luggage in real time from the moment they check in, as part of the package of initiatives that the airline is implementing to improve the customer experience and make their journey more pleasant and peaceful.
The innovation and digitalisation strategy has become one of the main pillars on which Iberia is developing its transformation plan, implementing different innovative solutions that make flying easier for its passengers, from the moment they start planning their journey to their destination.
Within the baggage tracking system, passengers will receive “push” messages when key milestones occur in the transfer of their luggage or when it is necessary for them to take any action. Customers will also be offered the possibility of self-management if their luggage is affected by any kind of incident.
