Air Europa intensifies its strategy of air sustainability
23 August, 2023In 2023, Air Europa is launching its Flight 2030, a project that brings together a set of 45 initiatives currently underway to continue improving in the direction established by the 23-25 Strategic Plan. The airline’s commitment is to be sustainable in the broadest sense of the concept.
In 2022, several advances have already been made in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), improving operational efficiency, reducing the impact on the environment, increasing punctuality, involving suppliers and employees in adopting more responsible measures, advocating for inclusion and parity, and contributing to a more beneficial development for the environment.
With the project now being presented, a series of environmental, economic and social actions are being implemented in order to move in this direction and achieve more efficient and sustainable operations. These include measures implemented ranging from the increased use of sustainable fuel (SAF), to the incorporation of a sustainability clause in all contracts.
