Surprise, this is the most searched Spanish beach on the internet
6 September, 2023On the coast of Lugo (Galicia), Las Catedrales beach leads the ranking of the most internet searches with more than 60,500 hits, according to data collected by the company Eskimoz and published by Forbes. It so happens that this is a Protected Natural Area and access is limited to 5,000 daily visitors in high season, so these days you have to reserve your free admission in advance.
However, Las Catedrales is not the only beach in Spain with more than 60,500 searches. Roquetas de Mar beach in Almería also generates significant public interest; followed by beaches Zahara de los Atunes (Cádiz) with almost 50,000, and Almuñécar (Granada), with more than 40,000.
Catalan beaches are also among the most sought after in Spain. Platja D'Aro (Girona) occupies fifth place in the Eskimoz ranking, with more than 12,000 searches. Malvarrosa beach in Valencia is the primary representative of the Valencian Community, and sixth in all of Spain, with more than 9,900 searches. In the north, La Concha beach in San Sebastián and the Asturian beaches of Silencio and Carnota stand out.
