27 September, 2023

The picturesque seaside town of O'Grove in Galicia is resplendent with vibrant colours during the annual seafood festival, which this year runs from 5-15 October, amidst its usual culinary diversity and an unbeatable atmosphere enlivened by music and dance.

The high quality of the seafood on offer, the reasonable cost of the dishes, the service inside the marquees, the festive atmosphere, the shows, concerts and the wide variety of activities attract hundreds of thousands of people every year to enjoy one of the most important gastronomic festivals in Spain.

O Grove’s Feria del Marisco was declared of National Tourist Interest in 2013 and is now aiming to be declared of International Tourist Interest. Since 1963, gourmets from all over the world have made the pilgrimage to the small town in the Rías Baixas, in the province of Pontevedra, to feast on oysters, mussels, crab, squid and many other local specialities.
