Turespaña’s convention on the future’s sustainable transformation
4 October, 2023The search for sustainable management of tourist activity from the triple environmental, social and economic perspective will be the central theme of the 3rd Turespaña Convention, to be held from 23rd to 25th October in the Kursaal Auditorium in San Sebastian, with the collaboration of the Tourism Society of San Sebastian City Council, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and the Basque Tourism Agency (Basquetour).
The 3rd Turespaña Convention, entitled “The sustainable transformation of tourism” will be structured in two parts. On the one hand, an extensive programme of round tables and presentations with some of the most important representatives of the national and international tourism sector. On the third day, tourism advisors, staff from Turespaña and the Secretary of State for Tourism will meet with tourism destinations and companies.
This edition, as a new feature, includes an area dedicated to the presentation of successful experiences in sustainability issues, by companies from different tourism sectors. In addition, the 4 best practices of collaboration of different companies with Turespaña will be presented, which can serve as examples of synergies to advance in greater public-private collaboration.
