A Barcelona cocktail bar is voted the best bar in the world
15 November, 2023Sips, in Barcelona, has been voted the best cocktail bar in the world in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023. This is the second year in a row that a Barcelona bar has been voted number one in the world.
Following the success of Paradiso in 2022, which came fourth this time, this year the prize went to Sips, which moved up from third to first place in this awards.
“We’d like to say that we are a small bar and that we opened at a very uncertain time but when you want to improve, that’s the most important thing,” said Simone Caporale, who opened Sips in 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic when collecting the award with Marc Álvarez.
