EasyJet connects Southampton, Newcastle and Belfast with Alicante

EasyJet has put on sale for next summer 16 new routes from five Spanish airports - Alicante, Malaga, Reus, Barcelona and Madrid - which, together with the opening next spring of its fourth operational base in Spain, in Alicante, of a seasonal nature, will strengthen its presence in a strategic market for the airline in 2024.

The 16 routes include nine connecting Alicante with Southampton, Newcastle, Belfast City, Zurich, Prague, Lyon, Lille, Nantes and Nice, which will start operating between 31 March and 5 May and have over 125,000 seats. In addition, Malaga will have over 30,000 seats on three routes to Athens, Nice and Nantes, all operating from June.

Madrid-Barajas incorporates a new route to Lyon with around 10,000 seats, which starts on 31 March, Barcelona-El Prat will have a new route to Pisa and Reus will have two connections to London Luton and Manchester. The Barcelona-Pisa route has over 4,000 seats and the Reus route has over 25,000 seats combined.
