Vincci wins the Best Practice Sustainability in the Hotel Sector award
20 December, 2023Vincci Hoteles has received the Best Practice Sustainability in the Hotel Sector 2023 award, granted by the Iberian Business Travel Association (IBTA). This is the second consecutive year that the hotel chain has received this award. Previously, it was also recognised as the best Business Travel chain in the 2016 and 2017 editions.
On this occasion, Vincci Hoteles has won the award for its CO2 Footprint Calculator, with which guests and clients can find out the carbon footprint generated by their stay or event and then compensate for it. The initiative is part of the hotel group’s sustainability strategy, integrated into all its four and five-star hotels.
Its ongoing commitment to caring for the planet has helped the chain to obtain this award in a category in which different candidates participated, pre-selected by the Jury and subsequently submitted to an open vote among Travel Managers and leading professionals in the Spanish market.
