27 December, 2023Low-cost Irish airline Ryanair has announced a new route from Norwich to Alicante which will operate twice weekly from 1 April as part of its summer 2024 programme. The addition of this new connection serves “to boost connectivity and inbound tourism to Alicante”.
According to Elena Cabrera, Ryanair’s Country Manager for Spain, “our new route to Norwich will allow Ryanair to further boost connectivity and inbound tourism to Alicante by attracting British holidaymakers to the region”, where, in addition to its beaches, there are many beautiful and emblematic places for visitors to discover.
Specifically, on a trip to Alicante you can take the opportunity to visit Tabarca Island, the Castle of Santa Barbara, as well as various monuments and historic buildings, museums, cultural centres, promenades and gardens. Shopping and sports such as golf and sailing are also very interesting in this destination on the Spanish Levante coast.
