Digital passport verification now available for Air Europa passengers

The survey also highlights that travellers want to streamline certain processes outside the airport.
So Air Europa has implemented Amadeus Travel Ready by Traveler ID, a complete package of innovative solutions that make travel easier by automating and digitising the document verification process. The technology gives travellers peace of mind by allowing them to verify the validity of certain documents before heading to the airport.
Passengers on Air Europa’s international flights already have this new functionality available to them during the online check-in process, through any of their favourite digital channels (mobile or computer). Once the passport has been verified, the passenger’s status is automatically updated in the airline’s system with the “SKYCLEARED” label, saving time by speeding up manual document checks at check-in, baggage drop-off and boarding processes and reducing queues.
