A Gran Meliá will open its doors in Barcelona in early 2024

An exclusive urban resort, located in Barcelona, builds on the heritage of the former Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I, taking it to a new level with a complete renovation, due to open in early 2024.
Meliá Hotels International’s commitment to innovation and brand positioning has continued to gain recognition in major industry awards. The group received the award for Best Hotelier of the Year at the Beyond Luxury Awards 2023 and the hotels Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora (Tenerife), Hotel de Mar (Mallorca) and Villa Le Blanc (Menorca), received awards in other categories.
In fact, the Villa Le Blanc hotel is among the 10 best luxury hotels in Spain. This establishment in Menorca was also named Best New Hotel of the Year at the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller awards.
